How to clean sports gear (helmets, pads)

Sports gear works hard — and it shows. Sweat, body oils and odours build up fast in helmets, pads and straps. Universal Cleaner cuts through grime, breaks down residual oils and deodorises naturally for a clean, fresh finish.

What you need

✔ Universal Cleaner
✔ Atomiser Spray Bottle
✔ General Cloth

Step-by-step guide

Step 1
Spray Universal Cleaner liberally over the surface of helmets, pads and straps using the Atomiser.

Step 2
Allow the cleaner to sit for two to three minutes to break down sweat, oils and odour-causing residues.

Step 3
Wipe thoroughly with a General Cloth, using the scrubby corner for stubborn spots or built-up grime.

Step 4
Wipe again with the clean side of the cloth to remove any remaining moisture.

Step 5
Leave gear to air dry completely before storing or reusing.

Pro tip

Give your gear a Koh refresh after every few uses — it keeps odours under control and extends the life of padding and linings.
